Today’s Daily Prompt is rather apt for someone who is entering the last year of her twenties tomorrow… “You’re tasked with creating a brand new astrological sign for the people born around your birthday — based solely on yourself. What would your new sign be, and how would you describe those who share it?”
Her teeth looked like they would bite with the weight of the earth behind them. Her lips quivered as she curled them in an angry grimace. The twisted smile was a word of warning.

I’m in my last year of my twenties. I’m not sure what my symbol would be. Does your symbol mean you think they’d be angry or unhappy about it being their last year of their twenties?

I think it means that I’ll be happy at first that it’s my birthday, but then rather irritated at the prospect of turning thirty in a year… Haha!

My uncle barrie, a very talented writer himself, said that he thinks women are the most beautiful in their 30’s because they are still young but have finally become women. I think of that when i think about my bday in July. Most of my 20’s sucked, at times, hit rock bottom sucked, so I think my 30’s can only get better. I think yours will be awesome too. Great post.

That is actually a very good point. I think your mid to late twenties are very difficult, there’s a lot of pressure and a lot to think about. Thank you for that, I will embrace the 29th tomorrow!

I just turned 29 this weekend as well and it’s not an entirely happy number to be at. I think mine would be a moth drawn to the flame of aging.

Haha, I’m not entirely sure myself to be honest. Perhaps a monkey that looks like it’s smiling, even to itself, and then it realises that the smile is turning into some sort of twisted misery… It doesn’t have much of a ring to it though does it?!

Happy Birthday! I’m in my last year of my twenties, two months away from the big 3.0 (Yikes!) … It’s not so bad 🙂 Life gets easier in so many ways! Enjoy it!
