Wow, this post. Subversive. Hemingway…”aiming”… and the post itself. I see what you did there. Pretty good!

What a great shadow figure waiting at the end of the line.

What a powerful story. Better than much of Hemingway, actually.

Thank you, what compliment, now if only I could gain as much notoriety as the great man himself… 🙂

Thank you, it’s quite an enjoyable task to sit and do each week… although sometimes it takes a lot longer than it should for so few words!

That doesn’t surprise me- it’s an amazing skill. I look forward to more.

I like the picture a lot as it tells a story. I’ve always loved pictures which convey something and then you can build up a story just by seeing the picture. Great job! 🙂
I am new here and I could use some help. Can you please tell me how am I supposed to put a pingback on my picture? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. 🙂

Thank you! A lot of the time I do find that the photos act as inspiration for the writing I post, so it’s nice to know they say something to other people too 🙂
Of course I can help with with the ping back… Basically whilst you’re writing or editing your post, there will be a little square symbol above the text box that looks like a chain. Just highlight the words you want to make ‘clickable’, the click the chain icon and it’ll give you the option to place a URL link in there. If you’re finding that a little complicated you can just simply cut and paste the URL of what you want to ping back to in your post and it’ll work too.
Hope that helps, let me know how you get on 🙂

Hey. Thanks for helping me. It means a lot. 🙂
You have a new follower! 😀
Can you please take a look at my post and see if I have done it correctly?
Thanks once again. 🙂

You’re very welcome 🙂 I cannot seem to get onto your blog. When I click your username it says the authors have deleted this site, and when I click your picture it only goes to your Gravatar page which has no link to your blog. If you paste a link into here I will take a look for you. 🙂

Very effective use of text & image. Dramatic contemporary noir – bright hard, both tonal & emotional elements.
