Day 108.

 

A new resident has clomped its way into my ever expanding zoo of inanimate animal objects. Until the day comes when I can cling to a gorilla whose heart-is-a-thumping, this side table will have to suffice. Even if he does graze my cheek every time I nuzzle against him in affection.

Thank you for your patience amidst the wordiness of the last four weeks. I have said goodbye to the writing101 course and so will be resuming business as “normal”

Day 99.

It seems apt that on this day, the penultimate of this challenge, I am bombarded with cheery moments to choose from. Do I select the lunchtime bubbles and French food? Should I opt for the tones of Alexandre Desplat that dance around my office? Might I revel in the fact I can work in my pants when the sun beats a little too willingly? Or should I just photograph the Krispy Kreme I just gobbled in honour of National Donut Day? Instead of bothering my brain further I shall just appreciate the many people that have featured along the way, and those of you that grace one of my favourite walls in our abode, because you definitely pull at the corners of this sarcastic mouth. #100happydays #day99

Day 97.

These are the tea guardians. Many of them have journeyed from afar, many of them come from the animal kingdom, but they all have just one calling… To reign over my empire of brews. #100happydays #day97

Day 95.

Why hang your coat on a hook when you can drape it on the horn of a rhino, on the snout of a pig, or on the schnoz of a moo cow? #100happydays #day95

Day 87.

Why of course happiness makes an appearance masquerading as a china bunny with an illuminated tail. What else could it conceivably have dressed up as? #100happydays #day87

Day 82.

The summer may have gone back to its regular home, but I can enjoy some interior sunshine in garish green courtesy of this bedside garden. #100happydays #day82

Day 81.

He may have a glistening gold face with diamond decked features, but make no mistake, he is ferociously fierce. The latest addition to our creature crammed nest. #100happydays #day81

Day 74.

Dinner time never looked so fine as in the Feasey Thomas household where gold reigns supreme and every meal feels like a banquet. Happiness can be unearthed in the most monotonous of objects. #100happydays #day74

Day 62.

 

I am sure that alcohol lured happiness coaxes many a weary traveller down a perilous path, but there’s just something about a golden goblet of the grape juice shimmering in the sunshine.

Over the past two weeks I have been knee deep in a beginner’s blogging challenge, which today asked me to respond to WordPress’ Daily Prompt post of ‘Ring of Fire‘. Contrary to those who might see these three words and think of some toilet humoured response – and by the way wordpress, I am a lady and therefore, I am not amused – it has made me come over all rose tinted in sight of my mis-spent teen years and an alcohol infused game of the same title. Ergo, wine charged 100happydays today.
